The illustrations were developed for the 5th edition of Comic Juju. The theme of this edition was the number “5”.
I made the portraits of the matematician Themistoclea and the scientist Mary the Prophetess.
In this imagined reality, they are calling each other, planing a scape together.
The image is also referring to the movie “Thelma and Louise” (1991), considered to be a feminist icon.
